We have an amazing team of passionate, fast, and caring MTB coaches. Learn from the best! Our coaches are police checked to work with kids, have current medical certificates, and are experts at assisting and teaching children. Our ratios are 1.6, or 2.12 for bigger groups.
Weather Disruptions (Cancellations)
The sessions normally always go ahead regardless of weather. We are fortunate enough to have tree cover at the venue, so the weather shouldn’t stop us! BikeSchool are very safety conscious, so in the off-chance that the weather is horrible, a cancellation will be made by 3pm and put on Facebook (BikeSchool). BikeSchool Terms and Conditions are on our website. The price is the same, regardless of how many sessions your child decides to come along to. We WILL ADD one catch-up-ride at the end if we need to cancel a session or more during the term.
Gear for Riding
Please Remember, A bike, helmet and gloves in good working order, personal riding equipment such as a Camelbak Bag, Water, Tools, Warm Jacket, and any Food you may need.
What will you learn?
We aim to include an element of fitness (a bike ride), and will include at least one skill a week! This will include skills covered in out Modules 1-2-3, which will see your child gain at least 30 sweet-as skills by the end of the year! WOW. Check out our MTB Modules for more info.
Groups & Ages
We will run two groups at the same time! These rides are aimed at those aged 9-13 years of age. Groups will be split depending on fitness, skill levels, personal preference, gender, and age. We will help your child to select the best group for them! This means two AMAZING coaches, one guy and one gal, and two groups running simultaneously…
Parents (Just wanna have fun…)
We know that you LOVE to ride bikes too…BUT although you are super keen we prefer the sessions to run solely with the coach and children. This means you are encouraged to take an hour to yourself, and chill out or ride with other parent-mates. Think of it like, you wouldn’t join in on a game of rugby with your kids now would you…
BikeSchool are very safety conscious. We follow a Safety Management Plan, and all of our coaches carry first-aid kits. We require Health and Safety forms and Waivers from each participant at the beginning of each and every term as we like to keep this information up to date. We also have cell phones with your number, so can contact you if we need to.
If your child is not able to make it along, that’s no worries – Just let us know by sending a text. We are flat-tac during the day with schools, so a text will be awesome. We do not offer refunds or make-up sessions for missed lessons. Text us: 0273494393
